Since some of our guests attending the event will come from abroad or inter-state, below are a few hotels which we would highly recommend. December is peak season as it is the year end Christmas celebrations and schools are on holiday. To avoid disappointment, please make your hotel reservations early.

Traders Hotel

The wedding banquet will be held at the Traders Hotel. We have requested for the hotel to accomodate our wedding guests at a special rate. So we would suggest guests who are on a short stay to put up at this hotel for its convenience and benefit from the discounted room rates.

Please make your hotel reservations before end of October. Upon reservation just quote that you are guests to the wedding banquet of June Lim & Sami Rahunen on the 28th December.

The Traders Hotel is located in the centre of Georgetown. It is approximately 20 minutes away from the airport. It is within walking distance to most touristy locations, the Prangin Shopping Mall. There are also coffee shops dotted around the Komtar area where you can pop out to taste some local hawker's food.

Evergreen Laurel Hotel

This is one of the nicer hotels located near the seafront along Gurney Drive. It is 10 minutes away from Georgetown city centre, and 15 minutes away from the Tanjung Bunga beaches. Take a leisurely short stroll along the Gurney Drive road northwards and you will find yourself at the Gurney Plaza shopping centre.

G-Hotel

Yet another hotel along Gurney Drive, but this is a very new hotel styled in a contemporary theme. It is located within close vicinity to the Gurney Plaza shopping centre, and the Gurney hawker’s food centre.
